The name is Elaine Heng Siow Teng. Well,I'm sweet 18. Birthday:28th of May 1992. Currently stay in Kepong,KL.
Interest will always be fashion. I'm friendly,so just TALK to me.
Hey peeps, I’m back as I said I will be back, right? I’m now blogging in library, pretty silence here, likeyy.
*Claps*
Let’s talk about my celebration on Malaysia Independence Day on 31st August 2010.I was working on that day because according to my company’s policy, staff is not allowed to take leave on public holidays. After work, I straight away head to Black and White Café @ Pandan Indah, Ampang with my brunch of buddies. At 12 o’ clock sharp, the café’s owner who is my friend, he popped the fireworks and we all seemed to be effing excited.
But, but, a big but, I heard that there’re no fireworks pop in KLCC. How sad, it’s like we are just “syiok sendiri” while all the citizens they don’t even care for the Merdeka day. It’s okay, at least we did. We love our country. Dear Malaysia, over after five decades of independence, Happy 53th Independence Day!!
1 Malaysia, we’ll gonna make it!
Since the Independence Day just passed a week ago, I’ll talk a lil’ about my lovely Malaysia. Why I love my country? The most thing is because this is a harmony and safe country. There is no war, tsunami, earthquake and other disasters. The first day my friend went to Taiwan and she encountered Typhoon. I was like WTH?! =.=
Well, nowhere else in the world you can find multi-culture country except here consists of three major races: Malay, Chinese, Indian and others such as Iban and Kadazan.
We all are different races, we have different skin colours, different religion, different cultures, different dialects and more. But we’re in the same world, we’re in the same country in fact, we’re all MALAYSIAN! Recently, the racist issue popped out by the Malay Headmistress had influenced the whole Malaysia and it has seared my mind, soul and heart too. So-call headmistress demanded Chinese to get back to China. Owhhh, how hurt?! *Piang, heart broken* This incident has also caused Malays and Chinese fighting direly especially in facebook. This shouldn’t be! I’m absolutely love my malay friends and they love me too.
There’s apparently NO RACISM between us, but why can’t others?
Anyway, I’m just a lil’ girl, I’m not able to do anything but I will still love them like I did. Just hoping that we can all live in harmony, ANTI-RACISM!
Hoping that we’ll still maintain colourful. Alright, let’s skip thee.m.o part.
Talk about Festivals! As I mentioned above, obviously different races have different festivals to celebrate. First of all, Malays celebrate Hari Raya Adilfitri popularly known as Hari Raya Puasa to mark the culmination of Ramadhan, the holy month of fasting. Dear all my malay friends, wishing you all a joyous Hari Raya! *Chuuuu, kisses*
Besides, Chinese celebrates Chinese New Year, the youngster will get a red packet with money inside from elders in order to give them good luck.
By the way, Indian do celebrates Thaipusam. Generally, Hindus take a vow to offer a kavadi to idol for the purpose of tiding over or averting a great calamity.
As a truly Malaysian, I was born here, live here, grow here, there’s not even a single reason for me to dislike Malaysia’s food. Thus, I love to eat Malay’s food such as nasi lemak, satay and rendang.
Besides that, I also fall for Indian’s roti canai and naan.
As a Chinese, of course I don’t forget, definitely is Bak Kut Teh, wantan mee and fried kuey teow.
Ooopsss, saliva drooling. Imma go and grab some food now. See ya all!
